In 1964, sales of the iconic Citroën 2 CV were declining, surpassed by the Renault 4. Citroën responded by creating the Dyane, utilising the 2 CV’s production line to cut costs. If the Dyane succeeded, the 2 CV could be replaced. However, the new model had to retain the dimensions of the 2 CV, particularly in width. This highly detailed Norev 1:18 scale model features four functional openings: rear hatch, front doors, and bonnet. The 602 cc engine with a dual-barrel carburettor and sophisticated air intake system is visible under the bonnet.
